Cheryl Lea
Cheryl dwells in a hamlet in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with her semi-retired husband, their kindhearted, yet tack-sharp, teenage daughter, and their adorable overly-protective, but loveable, rescue dog. Cheryl became a writer when she learned to correctly grip her yellow No. 2 Ticonderoga, giving her first public reading of “By the Green-Blue Bay” at the age of ten from her aunt’s wrought-iron spiral staircase to a captive captivated familial audience of eight. After high school, Cheryl took twenty gap years to explore her options before attending Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, earning her BA in English. She then spent a year in Spalding University’s Creative Writing MFA program in Louisville, Kentucky. She is the author of Faith Storm: Salvation to Relationship. After a close encounter with God, Cheryl received a miraculous healing and a divine mission, and these days you will most likely find her studying the Bible, listening to Christian podcasts, dispensing words of wisdom to her daughter, and writing. Sometimes she quilts.
